The surrounding area offers plenty to see for lovers of tranquillity and outdoor adventure, with several quaint towns and picturesque villages. The medieval market town of Shrewsbury is steeped in history yet bursting with cosmopolitan shops, bars, cafés and restaurants. Take a trip over the border into Wales with the pretty town of Llangollen only a short drive away, providing a plethora of adventure activities suitable for all. And if that wasn’t enough, the wider area also features the historic city of Chester (and it’s world famous Zoo), Zip World, the Ironbridge Gorge, the foodie haven of Ludlow, as well as many National Trust properties.   Important:
